Where Rainbows Ends by Cecelia Ahern | A brief book review.

Hey folks! welcome you to the reader’s corner. In this blog, I am going to share the reading experience of “WHERE RAINBOWS END” by CECELIA AHERN one of my favorite authors in fiction.

ABOUT “WHERE RAINBOWS END”

CECELIA AHERN wrote this book, Where Rainbows End in 2004 and published by Harper Collins. The book won the German Corine Award in 2005. In 2014, the novel was adapted into a film title Love, Rosie.

HOW DID I LAND IN THIS BOOK?

I bought this book at the recent book fair held in January. Actually, I was roaming in the second-hand bookstall where I accidentally came across this book’s title ‘Where Rainbows End.’ The mysterious title made me grab this book and also bought it at a great deal. Eventually, the adventure to see where the rainbow end, begins…

ABOUT THE STORY

So, to start with, this story is all about the two best friends Alex and Rosie. The story covers the lives of the best friends from naughty childhood, rebellious teenage, and struggling adult life from Dublin to Boston. It also very well depicts the lives in Europe and America. The best thing and my most favorite thing about this book are, the story is fully written in letters, emails, postcards, and instant messages which make the readers feel that they actually not reading a story but reading the private lives of the best friends, their secrets, etc.

Hey readers! have you ever written letters or email to your best friends? (If you have written letters to your loved ones or even it is just a post-it to remind something or wish them a happy day also counts do share the feeling in the comment section below) I have written letters to my cousin in my childhood and still write letters to my best friend sometimes. I think it is the best way to deliver emotions. Sometimes words speak well. Since I love to write notes and letters to my loved ones this book is like a chocolate ganache over my cake!!

To me, “Reading old letters are like treasure hunting. Somewhere in those faded, handwritten lines, there is a story that has been packed away in a dusty old box for years”

More about the story.

These two best friends never fail to write for them even in their very bad situations and they share each and every little thing that happens in their lives that is very touching. Because nowadays it is very rare to find such people. The most wonderful thing in this story which I liked is the way they stand for each other and for their loved ones in times of happiness and trouble they make sure they always have their backs. That is the one least thing we can give to others. Apart from these things the story is so relaxing, calm, and lovely about their normal life with ups and downs. So, when u like to read something slow-moving and good story apart from normal and usual ones I suggest this book.

SOME OF MY BEST LOVED LINES OF THE AUTHOR FROM THIS BOOK ARE

“Mistakes are the portals of discovery”
‘Enjoy. To have fun!!’
‘Single is the new black’ the author wrote this almost 16 years back which is trending now!!
“It’s never too late to start over in life again…”

So, if you are searching for warm summer reads, Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern is the right choice. And if you never written letters for your loved ones give it a try because “Letters are among the most significant memorial a person can leave behind them.”

Happy reading and writing!!!
