How to do wall decor on a budget?

Nowadays things used for wall decorations are a bit pricey. For anyone who is really interested in room/wall makeover, with reasonable cost, then “wall painting” or “wall art” is the best solution. If you are the one, not interested in freehand sketching, then you can order the templates online and kick-start your painting skills!!

DIY WALL DECOR IDEAS

This post is all about wall decorations. I love paintings and not an expert. I just loved to scribble and still remember how I used to get scoldings from my grandfather for scribbling on the wall. From then on, I never had any courage to scribble on walls. Lately, I decided to reorganize and decorate my room, that looked so dull. Initially, I thought of having a gallery wall. Then an idea struck my mind, “why not painting on the wall?”.

We have a wall, painted in yellow color. My idea is to paint in “Black”, because, I love black. I used black acrylic paint from Camel Company.

The paintbrush I used is from the same company of no 4 and Faber-Castell’s flat brush of no 5.

ON SPOT IDEAS / THEME / FAVOURITES

Your wall, Your Idea = fun + satisfaction. Accordingly, create your own space and customize your wall art by painting your favorite things like music symbols, ice-creams, etc. You can also go by theme or any on spot ideas like I did with my sisters.

The fun part is, I used my sibling’s help, to paint the wall. They happily dipped their hands in black paint and pressed hard on the wall (of course later on me!!).

Ultimately, this became my most favorite part of this DIY wall decor. Also, the result came out really cool.

Since I am addicted to coffee, I never forget to add at least the term “coffee” in my favorites lists. As the result, coffee came on my wall.

Also, I need my paintings to be as simple as much as possible and of them, my favorite is the couple birds, not necessarily lovebirds.

INSPIRATIONS 

I liked music and photography, so included them. Some simple on the spot ideas, my favorites also appeared on the wall. Moreover, you can customize your wall by painting your inspirations.

I loved to travel a lot. In that inspiration, I painted the directions, which appeared as the centerpiece.

Some pictures during the middle of the progress. It took almost 6 hours to complete.

Painting is the best hobby to destress during the holidays or whenever possible. Either from simple scribbles to this paintings, it always gives me happiness. Need to learn more.
